1. Coverage Details

Luminera Windows ("Luminera") warrants to the original purchaser that its fiberglass window and door products ("Products") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for the periods specified above. This warranty applies only to Products manufactured by Luminera and installed in residential or light commercial applications within the United States.

50-Year Product Warranty: The fiberglass frame, sash, and structural components are warranted against defects in manufacturing, warping, rotting, or deterioration for a period of fifty (50) years from the date of installation. Hardware components are warranted for ten (10) years. This coverage ensures that your Luminera products will remain structurally sound and operational for decades.

20-Year Glass Warranty: The insulated glass unit (IGU) is warranted against seal failure — meaning the hermetic seal between glass panes will not fail, resulting in visible condensation or moisture ingress — for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of installation. Argon gas fill and Low-E coating performance are covered under this same period.

30-Year Paint & Finish Warranty: The factory-applied interior and exterior finish is warranted against peeling, flaking, chipping, excessive fading, and chalking for a period of thirty (30) years from the date of installation. This applies to standard and custom color finishes applied at the Luminera factory.

3. Luminera's Remedy

If a defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, Luminera will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product or component. Replacement products will match the original as closely as possible, though Luminera reserves the right to substitute components of equal or greater value if the original is no longer available. Luminera will cover the cost of the replacement product and ground shipping to the original delivery address.

This is your exclusive remedy under this warranty. Luminera is not responsible for labor costs associated with removal of defective products or installation of replacements, nor for consequential or incidental damages.

4. Transferability

This warranty is fully transferable to subsequent owners of the property where the Products are installed. To transfer coverage, the new owner must notify Luminera in writing within thirty (30) days of property transfer, providing the original purchaser's name, the property address, and proof of property transfer. The coverage period continues from the original date of installation — it does not reset upon transfer.
